Porn Teacher Jailed 25 Years

DAVID ODURO, a 23-year-old pupil teacher of Frank Duff Preparatory School at Breman in Kumasi, who defiled a seven-year-old pupil in 2011, has been sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment in hard labour.

A Kumasi Circuit Court presided over by Mrs. Rita Agyemang-Budu convicted David on a charged of defilement, contrary to section 101 (2) of act 29/60, as amended by section 11 of Act 554/98. He pleaded not guilty.

Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Rose Essuman told the court that the convict was the class teacher of the victim.

She narrated that in September 2011, the convict took the minor home after school without the knowledge of her parents, under the pretext of taking her through some computer lessons.

The parents of the victim, worried about the child’s whereabouts, called the class teacher late in the evening to help them find the victim.

The teacher, David Oduro alias Obama, admitted to being in the company of the juvenile with the excuse that she was playing games on his laptop. He also pleaded with the parents to let the child pass the night with him.

Obama’s request infuriated the father of the victim who refused and went for the child around 10pm.

A couple of weeks later, the convict took the victim home again at Anomagye Mpatasie, a Kumasi suburb, after school, without the consent of her parents and sexually assaulted her whilst he took pictures with his cellular phone of the act.

Pictures of the teacher’s sexual escapade with the minor, tendered in court as evidence, which DAILY GUIDE sighted, showed the little girl tightly holding and licking the erected penis of Obama.

The convict was said to have showed the illicit pictures on his cellular phone to some friends at his school and was spotted by a Good Samaritan who called the victim’s parents to inform them about it.

Alarmed by news, the victim’s parents called the teacher for questioning. Not satisfied with his explanations, the father of the victim caused the arrest of Obama and handed him to the Ashanti Regional Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit of the Police Service for further investigations.

A medical report on the victim confirmed that she had been defiled and after investigations David Oduro was arraigned.
